Saturday, June 10, 2006 was Beatles Night
at Zephyr Field. The Krewe of 'TIX was there, of course, along with its Beatles
Historian, author Bruce Spizer. There were
Beatles trivia questions for the crowd, with copies of Bruce's book,
The Beatles Are Coming, as
prizes. Watch the video to see a couple of the contests, and hear the Krewe of
'TIX lead the crowd in the seventh inning stretch rendition of Take Me Out to
the Ball Game. Murdering the song were Michael in the Morning, Hot Rod
Glenn, Bob Walker & Sgt. T-Ben Boudreaux, Blair on the Air, Bruce Spizer, and
JD. And the Zephyrs came from behind
to beat the Nasville Sounds, 7-6 as the scoreboard shows! |
